Step in. Serve. Make an impact.
God has given every person in the church gifts, relationships, and opportunities that matter. The Impact Initiative is a 40-day campaign designed to help you discover where you can serve, how you can use your gifts, and what it could look like to be part of God’s work through Crossroads.
This is not about filling slots. It is about becoming the kind of church where everyone plays a part, where people are transformed, community becomes real, and mercy moves outward into our city.
We have four ministry services that those prayerfully seeking to step into a volunteer role can choose from.
Welcome Team
Our greeters offer a warm welcome to anyone stepping through the threshold of our church. Whether they are regular attendees, recent members, or curious newcomers trying out church for the first time, all are welcome here. Volunteers can serve at either our 9:30 am or 11 am services and will help set up the welcome table and ensure everyone receives a bulletin, communion pod, and a joyful smile.
Serving Details: Sundays, before either the 9:30 am or 11 am services.
Kid’s Ministry
At Crossroads, we believe kids are a vital part of the church. This role serves on Sundays at our 11 am service and provides age-appropriate Bible teaching, joyful worship, and a warm, secure environment where kids feel known and loved. Volunteers can choose to serve with either the infant to preschool age class or the kindergarten to 5th grade class. It is our mission to help every child discover the goodness of God in a way they can understand and remember.
Serving Details: Sundays, during the 11 am service.
Media Team
It takes a village to run a service, and we rely greatly on our behind-the-scenes team to help Sundays flow smoothly. Our Media Team volunteers can serve at both services by working the worship/sermon slides, managing audio/visual elements, and helping set up and tear down the stage. Don’t worry, you do not need to be a tech genius to serve in this role. New volunteers will be trained accordingly and will shadow current volunteers to get the ropes. If you can push a button, you can serve in this role!
Serving Details: Sundays, before and during either the 9:30 am and 11 am services.
Food Pantry
Crossroads hosts Deb’s Pantry to reach our local community by providing those in need with food, baby items, and other necessities every Saturday. Volunteers will arrive at the church on Saturdays at 8 am to set up tables, unload the Second Harvest truck, and distribute donation items to community members. We are also always looking for additional donations if you have a heart to give.
Serving Details: Saturday mornings at the Church at 8 am.
