REVIVE is the first part of a 5-year vision to revitalize a dynamic ministry,

to impact Silicon Valley through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and through it, the world.

Crossroads has survived the most challenging season in its history. Now our Elders and Leaders are praying and thinking through a post pandemic reality.

We will need to come together like never before in order to re-launch this church.

We will need to:

1. Identify and build up new leaders.

2. Create additional opportunities for people to engage in ministry and connect to the church community.

3. Build a loving community of Christians that care for one another in remarkable ways.

We need new leaders in every area of ministry. The greatest need is on our Sunday Serving Teams, our Kids Ministry Team and our Worship and Media Tech Teams. If we are going to be able to open up and welcome people back, we need to ensure we have key volunteer rolls filled.

We need you to step into leadership. There are no small jobs in The Kingdom. Whether you are ushering, greeting, stuffing bulletins or leading a Growth Group in your home, you are lovingly reaching out to the lost in Jesus’ name.

In order to accelerate the movement of the Gospel we will need multiple entry points into the life of the church.

In many churches there are one or two opportunities a week to connect with the life f the church. We desire to see Crossroads become a hub of ministry seven days a week. Through our Growth Groups, our Outreach Ministries such as Deb’s Pantry & Teach Me, our worship services and events, we want to create multiple entry points for people to connect with Crossroads mission and the Gospel movement in Silicon Valley.

Over the next 18 months we plan to offer additional worship services to connect with a broader audience. We will also be broadening our outreach initiatives to further meet the needs in our church body and larger community. THis will create even more opportunities for people to connect and contribute.

We need Christ followers who are willing to open their homes in order to host and lead Growth Groups. Growth Groups are the heart beat of Crossroads. So much of the life of this church goes beyond our Sunday celebration.

Our Growth Groups are where the rubber meets the road for ministry, meeting the needs and building the community of Jesus in the Valley. We desire to be a place where the needs of our brothers and sisters are met in the most loving and effective ways possible. This all happens through the context of meaningful spiritual relationships.

Our Growth Groups are semester based, with obvious on and off ramps. They are not a group of best friends for life. Rather, they are a group of fellow travelers sharing a season of life together. It is our hope and prayer that the deep bonds of friendship develop organically as a result.

PRAY – The challenge before us has never been greater but we serve a great God. Jesus said, “apart from me you can do nothing.” We need everyone to pray consistently for revival in this church and in our city.

SERVE – The expression “All Hands on Deck” holds special significance for Crossroads in this season. There is a lot of work to do and it will take all of us. We need everyone to bring their talents and experience to bear in reviving Crossroads so we can meet the needs of those God is going to bring through our doors.

GIVE – This initiative is going to take resources for it to succeed. Launching additional services and ramping up existing ministries. Our Elders have set the goal of $150,000 to fund these ministry initiatives over the next 18 months. Everything helps. For ways to give, go to www.cbclife.org/donate
