LOCAL OUTREACH

We believe that following Jesus should compel us to reach out to those who have not experienced the love of God, as well as to those who have significant physical needs. We are always looking for ways to serve our local community by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of our neighbors.

downtown San Jose Meal ministry

Each Saturday, we meet in the Fireside Hall Kitchen to make hearty, nutritious lunches for the hungry. We then go to the Martin Luther King Jr. Library in downtown San Jose to distribute meals and basic supplies, pray for people and share the Good News. For more information, call the church office at 408.288.4115 or email Donovan Babcock at donovan@cbclife.org

Share a warm, nourishing meal with someone who is hungry on Mondays from 10:30 am - 1:00 pm through our Refuge Cafe. We welcome friendly volunteers, who can serve hot, nutritious lunches in our Cafe area and visit with our guests. Please contact Pastor Jeff at jeff@cbclife.org to help or for more information.
