It is a low-impact, multi-muscle, walk-based workout that works for any fitness level. The music is paced so 15 minutes signifies the time (speed/pace) of most miles which averages a pace of 4mph. The workout is based on 4 core walk type movements: power walk, side steps, kicks and knee lifts to which arm movements are added for increased intensity. Free FFTK class.
Pilates Mat is a series of exercises that work to tone, strengthen, and lengthen your muscles. All exercises originate from the "core", which is a group of muscles, including the upper and lower abdominals, obliques, and upper and lower back. Pilates is appropriate for all fitness levels.
