Pilates Mat is a series of exercises that work to tone, strengthen, and lengthen your muscles. All exercises originate from the "core," which is a group of muscles, including the upper and lower abdominals, obliques, and upper and lower back. Pilates is appropriate for all fitness levels. All workouts are taught at several different levels. You are free to pick which level works best for you. It is a low impact, multi muscle, walk based workout that works for any fitness level.

It is a low impact, multi muscle, walk based workout that works for any fitness level. The music is paced so 15 minutes signifies the time (speed/pace) of most miles which averages a pace of 4mph. The work out is based on 4 core walk type movements: power walk, side steps, kicks and knee lifts to which arm movements are added for increased intensity.
